Fall colors are just something else, the way the trees just seem to change their whole personality as their favorite season approaches. A bright sunrise gets me up in the morning, sparkling with shades of crimson, baby pink and orange. The way the sky sings as the first rays of the sun hit it still mesmerize me. It’s time for my favorite season!

Fall is something that can’t be summed up into words, because it all feels too surreal to be true. The way the misty fog engulfs around the ground, as if hugging the earth as the world is slowly waking up. Like a blanket enveloping the land, it tickles your ankles as you walk past the grass, the sun’s rays hitting the water droplets as if diamonds are protruding up from the earth.

It’s magical how different the world looks through that lens, waking up before the sun does so that you can actually hear the birds waking up and chirping as they take off towards the sky. Fall is usually always associated with apple cider and pumpkins, colors and warm flannel, and I love every part of it.

Though it’s also associated with watching my favorite fall show, getting up early in the morning to catch the bus and in the process, watching the sun wake up. My friends and I have started our own little tradition, where everyday when the sky is pretty, we take a photo and send it to each other. Here, the leaves have already colored bright, as if a paintbrush was flicked over all the trees in Redmond is different shades of red.

Walking through these lanes is just a marvel, as you are surrounded by red or yellow leaves, them slowly drifting through the ground with the slightest breeze. The way the dried leaves make a sound as they swish and ruffle on the ground is a sound I never want to forget.
The weather is also beautiful, with fog and clouds in the morning slowly letting way to the sun, the temperature cold but the world full of bright blue skies and golden sunlight. I absolutely love wearing fall colors to school, bundled up in a flannel or a classic black and red sweater.
There’s so many people out there taking photos, and having a great time with family. Walking through the streets, crunching my feet onto the dried leaves, it feels like I’m a part of a snow globe. A world where the time is still, and there’s no rush.
Fall is my favorite reason, not just because of the weather, but because of school too. I get to see my favorite people everyday, feel the cold breeze coming in preparation of winter and see the leaves drift to the ground, ready to settle down just like us and all our work for the winter.
